As a family tradition we have always been making biltong. Initially in our home country of Zimbabwe whenever we went hunting with the old man, we ended up preserving the game meat by making biltong.
When we relocated to the UK we continued with the tradition of biltong making for the family and friends, but as they say, word travels fast. Soon we were producing awesome beef biltong for friends of friends and decided to take the next step and try and make a small business out of a hobby.
We use prime silverside beef imported from countries such as Ireland, Australia and New Zealand. The meat is sliced and then spiced with a blend of herbs and spices before being marinated. It is then hung up to air dry before being sliced and packed to preserve the freshness and flavour.
We recommend that you use the product within three days of opening, keeping out of direct sunshine and storing in the fridge.
